Emma Sheridan is an Outlander fan looking for love. Now that she's almost thirty and done with her failed marriage that only lasted a year, she figures now is the best time to start looking for the man of her dreams. Despite lack of support from her family, she travels to Scotland, hoping to find her very own James Fraser. Along the way, she keeps a blog called "Finding Fraser," and shares the highs and lows of her trip with her growing group of followers. As an Outlander fan myself, I loved the subtle references the author made to the original series, things only a true Outlander fan would understand (which I enjoyed). I sometimes got bored with the dialogue; some of it seemed unnecessary, and I often wanted to skip ahead. I found Emma's sister annoyingly melodramatic. Her hate for Emma's trip could easily have been toned down. Overall, Finding Fraser is a fun, easy read, and especially great for those of you who love Outlander and Scottish heroes. (CK)
