Colette left Belle-Ile, a small island off the coast of Brittany, when she was 18 years old and she hasn't been back since. And Etienne, a writer who used to spend his holidays on the island, is back to face his past.
I loved the characters who feel authentic and real and I liked the French setting and culture. As each character had a secret to reveal, I found myself completely engrossed in the story and its entertaining plot. (NP)
