Cassandra works for a commercial law firm and one day, her mentor Sara falls from the rooftop of the building. It’s presumed to be a suicide.
But Cass is not convinced. When her colleague, Nat, mentions that Sara was part of a secret women’s society and now they have room for a new member, Cass decides to go along to find out more.
I was drawn in by the premise but found the execution sadly lacking. While the scenes at the law firm were interesting – from the stresses of being overworked to the misogyny of the partners and clients - the plot surrounding the secret society was part ridiculous, part not properly explained.
