That is what happened to Liberty when she discovers her brother AJ's body. This part tugged at my heart as I had one of my best childhood friends die in similar circumstances. With her parents struggling with their grief, Liberty finally decides in order to move forward with her life and save herself from going under, she must up and leave all that reminds her of AJ. She ends up in Savannah and soon meets siblings Brett and Maddie, who becomes her roommate. Enter Shayne; Liberty has never felt this strong about anyone before but what happens when she discovers a dark secret about his past involving Maddie?
