It's almost Christmas time at Larkford Surgery but the doctors have their own problems to deal with. Holly wants to go back to work after giving birth to twins, but it seems the other partners don't want her back yet, so she gets busy helping everyone else.
Grace and Dan are discussing whether or not to have a child, while widowed rock-star Connor is looking for a place to start a new life but it's not easy when he is still grieving over the family he lost.
The story is heart-warming and entertaining, but I found it difficult to connect to the characters, maybe because this is the fourth book in the series. So I would advise that your reading experience would be enhanced by reading the three previous books first. Overall, Snowed in at The Practice was still an enjoyable, well-written read. (NP)
