Parisienne Rosalie Laurent runs a quaint postcard shop and dreams of being an illustrator. Her world changes when she meets famous children’s author, Max Marchais. At 70, his publisher has convinced him to write another children’s story and to have Rosalie illustrate it. The two form a strong friendship. Across the sea, in New York, a young man is at a crossroads after his mother dies. He wishes to pursue a career lecturing on Shakespeare at the Sorbonne but must decide whether to follow his dream or pursue a position in the family law firm. By chance, Robert sees The Blue Tiger, the book that Marchais and Rosalie have produced, and accuses them of plagiarism. Together, Robert and Rosalie investigate the true origins of the book, and whilst forming an attraction to each other, uncover secrets that will change all of their lives. This book is warm, tender and a delight to read. (LF)
