Small-town nurse Edwina ‘Eddie’ Campbell loves her life and job and
caring for her elderly grandparents who have raised her since she was a
young child. She yearns to find ‘the one’ and have a family of her own.
Harrison ‘Harry’ Baxter fled Yallambah 10 years ago for the bright
lights of the theatre after his farming father refused to accept his
career. Coming home for Christmas, Harry learns his father is sick with
motor neurone disease and extends his stay. This provides the perfect opportunity for him to
get to know Eddie. Whilst a growing attraction
develops between the two, Harry wants greater things than Yallambah can
offer and Eddie wants to remain in the town she’s always known.
It’s the
coming together of two people from different worlds to overcome adversity
to be together. Edwards provides a great Australian country setting with
