Vivian's life is turned upside down when she discovers that her husband of ten years and father of her four children is a Russian spy. And the fact that she works for the CIA makes her life even more dangerous. Afraid for her life and for her family, Vivian does everything to protect the life she has build even if it is based on lies. But she will have to choose where her loyalty lies: with her husband or with her country?
What I loved most about this novel is not only the tension that seeps through each page and the twists and turns that kept me glued to the page, but also how the author delves into Vivian's mind as she struggles with her discovery. Her feelings, her guilt, her fears are realistic and described in vivid details. This is an addictive and superb read that won't be easy to put down. (NP)
