Miracle Pie - Edie Ramer (2012)
After a troubled childhood, Katie has made a good life for herself making pies. At the request of a good friend she decides to do a pilot for a cooking show and there she reconnects with Gabe, a sick boy Katie met during her childhood. This was such a cute book - so full of fantasy and hope. The support the characters showed each other was heartwarming and very emotional. There was a lot of reference to the pies, but I believe that was to enforce the intuitiveness of us all, sort of like instinct. Absolutely a "warm fuzzy" with a yummy cover too! (KARM)
