Mexican Kimono - Billie Jones (2013)
Samantha is a self-centred, delusional single girl who purchases a $10,000 kimono on a whim. Subsequent to the purchase, her life falls under a curse and those around her, particularly her earth mother, blame the kimono. Samantha can't bear to part with it but has to confess, things aren't going so well - she gets sacked from her job, burns her hair, loses her flat, her best friends are out to get her and her two gay ex-boyfriends want her back! None of this however, is any of her doing. Samantha is a difficult character to like and her antics and approach to life is hard to relate to. But there are a few laugh-out-loud moments. (LF)
