Teacher Anna has moved to Manchester to follow a guy she had an affair with. Denise looks after her demanding, bed-ridden mother, while Petra, married to Sam, is still grieving after a miscarriage. All three women set up an online dating profile and hook up with David, a paediatric surgeon, but why does he keep cancelling all their dates?
This psychological thriller had rather an action-packed, darker-than-expected climax but the final page unfortunately finished on an ambiguous note.
