At thirty years old and with her mother's disastrous romantic life as reference, Ellen decides to register for an online dating site in order to know in advance her compatibility with a potential partner and not waste more time looking for true love. But when a mishap with her best friend's dog takes her to a veterinary clinic, she meets Henry, who attracts her attention immediately and prompts her to enrol in a dog training course. During the few days of class, Ellen feels a special connection with Henry, even though they might not be compatible. She opts to concentrate on her online dating but can't stop thinking about Henry. I found the first novella in the Better Date than Never series boring and the dialogue dull. (CP)
