Better Left Unsent (2024)

If office receptionist Millie wants to vent, she types up an email to the person but leaves it unsent in her drafts. After a server glitch at work, she is dismayed to discover that all her drafts have been sent.
The one to her ex, Owen, who is engaged to someone else. The one to her swoon-worthy office crush Jack. To her best friend. To her parents. To an annoying colleague. The lot. And now Millie is left with a raft of upset or offended people to deal with and the embarrassment of her private thoughts being made public.
A book premise where messages are sent by mistake seems to be the topic du jour lately. This was an amusing read, although it did drag over the same issues at times and perhaps a few too many characters popped up. But it was worth continuing to find out what happens on the romance front and whether the email sendout was indeed accidental. 6/10
