Emily and Josephine are half-sisters, and share a tight-knit relationship, especially after their mum left for Australia with her new partner.
Emily has recently moved into their old family home after marrying author Michael, who is working on his second book. And Josephine has found romance with Jack, who works in a bookstore and writes short stories.
But as the two couples bond, the sisters’ relationship is about to be tested. This is an intense – but not wholly satisfying – story about obsession, deception and heartbreak.
