The Many Futures of Maddy Hart (2025)

Every time Maddy gets intimate with a partner, she finds herself briefly 10 years in the future. None of the scenarios seem appealing at all and it’s enough to put her off sex altogether. Until she meets fellow actor Oliver.
But if what she sees of their future is true, it means they will soon experience heartbreak.
This is a very unique concept that is well executed with super short chapters that flow easily into the short glimpses of the future - but oh, I still don’t know how I feel about that abrupt ending! 7/10

Nobody’s Wife (2019)

Emily and Josephine are half-sisters, and share a tight-knit relationship, especially after their mum left for Australia with her new partner.
Emily has recently moved into their old family home after marrying author Michael, who is working on his second book. And Josephine has found romance with Jack, who works in a bookstore and writes short stories.
But as the two couples bond, the sisters’ relationship is about to be tested. This is an intense – but not wholly satisfying – story about obsession, deception and heartbreak. 6/10
