The Happy Ever Afterlife of Rosie Potter (RIP) (2014)
Bar manager Rosie Potter finds that rather than suffering from the hangover from hell, she's actually dead. As a ghost she can see her flatmate Jenny scream when she discovers her bloodied body, her boyfriend Jack's reaction when he hears the news and her family discussing her upcoming wake. Rosie can't remember what caused her untimely demise, although the local gardai think she's been shot in the head. As Rosie tries to figure out who could have done this to her, with the help of a charming ally, she realises she may not have really known real love at all. This is a delightful debut, with an engaging storyline and a conclusion that managed to take me by surprise. If you loved the movie Ghost, give Rosie Potter a go.
