Removed from her London posting and now divorced, she moves to Rockaway Beach in Queens and reconnects with a former boyfriend, Zach.
I was drawn to this story about “churnalism” in the tabloid industry. It’s one of those stories where the main character has screwed up her professional and private lives, but doesn’t win you over with her subsequent actions and remains an unreliable narrator. Despite its promising premise and several redeeming moments, the story fell short of expectations – just like a clickbait article.
