With humour and an easy writing style, Helen Whitaker created an engrossing and entertaining novel about family and friendship. The characters are not always likable, but they are well-crafted and developed. Even if you are not a parent or don’t know how hard it is to get a child into the right school, you will enjoy this engaging novel. (NP)
