Amanda Nathan has lost everything - her job as a receptionist; her boyfriend to her best friend and her half of the shared apartment. The only thing that Amanda has to fall back on is that she is a moderator on the HDU, the internet's largest celebrity gossip community. Amanda becomes very focused on the only thing that she can control. She becomes lost in celebrities' lives and begins posting rumours about her ex best-friend's favourite actor, Liam Brody, who has a reputation of being a playboy. With the help of a fellow HDU moderator, Amanda packs her bags for her new life in New York, where a fake romance begins between her and Liam. However, the fake relationship is much more complicated than either could imagine. I read this book in one day because it gripped me that much. The characters were really well-developed. (SG)
