Erin has worked tirelessly on her dream wedding and now is about to tie the knot with Simon. But as she walks down the aisle, the groom turns and it’s not Simon, but his best man Gil. What on earth is happening and why is she paired with a man she has always disliked?
This is one of those stories where it’s best to know as little as possible before going in – just the concept that the wrong man is waiting to marry Erin will be enough to entice you in. While some of the flashback scenes to five years earlier could have been better executed to explain the relationship dynamics between Erin, Simon and Gil, overall this is an emotionally satisfying read that like love, is more complex than you first expect.
