Lawyer Lily is getting married but that doesn't mean she doesn't still hook up with other men. Her fiance, archaeologist Will, is perfect, but Lily can't imagine only being with him for the rest of her life. Maybe she's more like her father, who's on to his umpteenth marriage, than she would like to admit. Will Lily decide that marriage isn't for her or confess all before the big day?
Lily is quite a polarising character, with her unconventional views on monogamy and general approach to life. Despite not being my sort of humour - or character - this is a well-written debut that is just crying out for a sequel.
