If The Dress Fits (2016)

Callie-Louise Henshaw is realising her dream: she owns a bridal boutique in London and is shortlisted in a competition to create famous actress Lilac’s wedding dress. But when her aunt's death forces her back home to Yorkshire, she has to decide between selling the shop her aunt has left her and take away a place of comfort for the local people or keeping it. As she juggles her family and childhood friends in Yorkshire and her glamorous life in London, she also struggles with her feelings for her first love and the only man who ever broke her heart. Callie is surrounded by interesting and lovable characters and I especially liked Tish and Fiona who cause many laughs. The author’s attention to details and precise descriptions transported me to the small village in Yorkshire knitting away with the Cupcakes & Couture group. This entertaining romantic fairy tale is perfect for those who love weddings. (NP) 7/10
