Sex blogger Imogen has been toiling away as an intern at magazines for years – and is currently working under industry legend Harri at Panache magazine. When Harri is denied the editor-in-chief role, she is shuffled sideways into a new online venture for younger women, and employs Imogen who matches the demographic.
But Harri finds management stifles her at every turn and Imogen is pushed outside even her comfort zone.
This story focuses on two women at different times of their careers, feeling let down by their ‘dream jobs’. I had high hopes for this book as I love stories set in the magazine/media world but I found it a bit disjointed and couldn’t relate to either character or the humour.
