Ada is a 26-year-old Aussie living in London, trying to make it as an actor while performing at a cabaret and working in temp jobs. While at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, she catches the eye of a guy from Liverpool called Stuart and he starts messaging her.
Meanwhile Sadie has moved in with Ada but since she’s headed back to Australia soon, it makes sense to keep everything casual.
And so the story goes on as Ada pings between the two love interests, realises her flatmate Mel has fallen for someone, and visits her sister in Florida who has just become a new mother.
Ada is a rather self-absorbed character and neither Stuart or Sadie were particularly appealing partners. One for those who like character-driven coming-of-age stories with a bi leading lady but don’t mind the lack of a plot.
