After one of her sons is implicated in an Instagram scandal, Liv finds herself locked in the car by her distracted husband Duncan. Reaching breaking point, she resolves things are going to change – both at home and at school.
She creates a roster to divvy out the domestic chores and also convinces the principal to run a program to address gender issues. And Duncan decides to shake things up at his demanding workplace too. But not everyone wants to overturn the status quo.
The author portrays the hectic life of a mother well and the issues of sexual harassment and gender bias at a teenage level are certainly topical. But the story got rather confusing towards the end.
