Without friends and some special reason to live for, colourblind Susan Spector decides to pack a few things and leave for Vegas. After an accident on her way, she meets exotic dancer Calliope and starts her list of things to do before she dies. With Calliope, beautiful Will, dying dog Eternity and travelling in a funeral coach, Susan's road trip has her looking for answers important to her.
Between Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland characters, I enjoyed every moment of this inspirational story. It's a heart-warming story with lots of humour. Can you imagine travelling as the song on the radio tells you? Can you see colours from the voice of the singer? Susan can - and so much more. (MH)
