Laura’s recovering from terrible heartbreak and having a break from her GP practice, but she cannot ignore the needs of the local farming community and gradually agrees to help out the local doctor. Very quickly she embraces the people of the township and finds a place for herself. The lure of her attractive young neighbour is also an advantage. Jake Finlay is fighting his own demons in addition to caring for his sick father as well as his sister and her family after her husband deserts her.  This is a feel-good story with real and loveable characters.(LF) 8/10
