Dear Internet: It's Me, Avery - Jennifer Ammoscato (2015)

Newspaper reporter Avery Fowler discovers that her husband is having an affair and unsure how to handle it, she turns to the website how to.com for advice. She is assigned online advisor Clementine, who helps her with her problems for a sum of $14.95 a month. Avery also has her new boss, Victoria, to contend with, so Clementine sure has her work cut out for her! Dear Internet: It's Me Avery was an interesting read. The first thing that grabbed me was the title as it made me wonder what it meant. The very idea of Avery looking for help on everything in her life via the internet had me in stitches over the situations she got herself in and the consequences that came with it. This book made me smile and as a result I'm looking forward to the second book in the series. (KD)
