Annette Remmington and her older husband, Marius, are both successful in their careers. Marius runs a gallery of his own and helps support Annette in her art consultancy business. When client Christopher Delaware asks her to help auction off his late uncle's art collection, Marius wants to promote her success by getting celebrity journalist Jack Chalmers to write a feature on his wife.
